The following advice can help you interact with Dashers successfully and beneficially:

Give Drivers a heads-up on when their orders will be available. When people know how long they will have to wait, they can wait more easily.

Please be polite to Drivers just as you would if they were dine-in customers.

Drivers might value your assistance because it can be challenging for them to locate parking.

Battery safety can be increased by using proper charging and storage procedures. We strongly advise Drivers to read the safety guidelines for e-bikes and other mobility devices that Call2Recycle and the Australian Fire Department have supplied.

It is always advisable to charge and store your device's battery according to the manufacturer's instructions. Along with those guidelines, the following advice can help lower the dangers associated with charging and storing devices:

Use only the charging device that the battery manufacturer has supplied.

Directly insert your charger into the electrical outlet. Use only power strips and extension cords when charging many batteries at once, and only in facilities made expressly for that purpose.

Never leave your battery charging unsupervised or for more than one night.

Avoid charging or storing the battery in places where it might block your door or the departure from the building. Ensure that the area where you are charging or storing your battery has a secure exit.

Your battery should be charged and kept in locations with good ventilation, apart from volatile substances, and close to fire detection devices.

After your battery has finished charging, unplug it.

Avoid storing or charging your battery in very hot or cold environments.

Never try to fix or modify your battery.

As soon as possible, stop using any recalled or damaged batteries. Observe the manufacturer's recall guidelines or have the battery discarded.

Call 9-1-1 if your battery is overheating or acting strangely (odor, leakage, unusual noises).
